Evanston should practice the STICK Method to promote Transparency:
- S - Stakeholders at the table is ABSOLUTE
- T - Timely Notification is REQUIRED
- I - Information Sharing is NECESSARY
- C - Community Meetings and Town Halls are ESSENTIAL
- K - Knowledge is POWER
Problem-Solving
Carlis WILL:
- Encourage the Economic Development Department to seek new businesses in the 5th Ward
- Advocate for job training opportunities for students not able to attend college
- Continue to work with the Community and Police to reduce Racial Profiling to make us safer
- Decrease the rodent problem by pushing for prevention rather than Evanston ignoring the cause
- Encourage more involvement of Property Owners and Youth
- Work aggressively to help prevent gentrification
